June 10, 2020 - I asked a friend about this Doom game he was obsessed with. He recommended I give it a try, as we had found each other through Half-Life and similar interests in FPS games. He gave me the DoomRetro source port and I bought the IWADs (the base games) for myself. From there, I embarked on a journey like no other. I have been introduced to an amazing community. I have been able to express my creativity and get my custom Doom works out there like never before. Thank you, everybody that I've met on Doomworld, Discord, & YouTube. You are the reason Doom is still going to this day, and that my site here even exists.
